I think any name brand item worth dozens of thousands of dollars or more can be seen as a status symbol, depends on what kind of status though
It's a car symbolizes luxury in many different environments... from the suburbs to the ghetto. Probably because it's simple in design. All types of people drive RRs.. celebs, politicians, housewives, CEOs etc. I've heard from all my friends who have RRs that it has sh!tty engineering though.
