They live in Calabasas .. which is in the San Fernando valley. Trust me, it's HOT there; it was in the high 90's to 100's recently. However, to *Swanky's* point, if you cross over the mountains (Topanga to Santa Monica or Malibu), yes .. you can see a big temperature difference! I live in Pasadena, and it was in the 90's, but we drove into town to have dinner with friends (Santa Monica) .. and it was in the low-mid 70's! Pacific ocean breezes keep things nice & cool!

So the heat gets trapped in between the mountain ranges? Sorry if a stupid question, I am from the plains.

Pretty much. The closer you are to the ocean, the more wind and free flowing breeze you have. I live in the Valley, not tooooo far from Calabasas and it gets HOT here as the hot wind is trapped. The further up you live in the mountains, the less hot you feel as you get more breeze.

Kylie to me, doesn't look happy. I know a lot of posters are probably gonna say "well how can you tell from pics" etc - but in every pic so far, there's no genuine big smile and her body language just shows she's uncomfortable and looking for attention. She doesn't have the carefree demeanor of a happy, healthy normal teenager. She looks self conscious at best.

Completely agree. She always seems so lost, unhappy, and out of place. Maybe its because their mother is too busy pimping them out and never around to really talk to them or give them the attention they need.

Except Kris, Kris looks genuinely happy. But the rest of them? Nope.
