i think the jeans and the tie-dyeish top is a great look for her.
i really do NOT see the big fuss over her weight. it's not like she weighs 300lbs. and how many girls and women do we see on a daily basis that are her size? LOTS and LOTS. she's not "fat", she's average. cmon.
and most importantly- she's confident, through and through. you can tell. if she wasn't, she wouldn't be performing, doing photoshoots, etc. who else can you say that about? that they are totally comfortable and confident and honest about it when they gain weight?

updated: After seeing a few recent pics, I don't like the tops she wears. They look cheap. I'd like for her to get Queen Latifah's stylist. I do like her bottoms.
I think so too, but I was like 'woah' with all the stripes and patterns. She was arriving at Letterman, she gave a beautiful performance.
