They didn’t resolve their financial disputes until 2024. He was still fighting her up until recently. She’s been really stepping up (IMO) and it’s hard to say if he deserved that. Only she can say

Regardless of his actions, her kids deserved her stepping up, and they deserve the sympathy. From the outside looking in, it looks like she's put them first, and if that's the case, she's quietly demonstrated that she's a great mom.
