That is a great point. Do you find K28 is an elegant bag or do you feel it is more like a larger sized bag? You raised a good point in your earlier response when you mentioned others can’t tell if you’re carrying K25 or K28. I have seen photos of K28 being held and it does look a little bit business like which made me question the size. Whenever I see K25 being held, it looks amazing! But the ladies carrying it are likely shorter than me so perhaps I can achieve the same look with a K28 for my height.

I’m 5’8, and I prefer 28. For casual, crossbody, 25 retourne is perfect, but for handheld and sellier, I prefer 28. Visually they just work better on a taller person imho. How big is your iPhone? I’ve always used pro max, and together with my wallet and Karo, they are a bit tight in a 25.

I didn’t even consider that! I just thought it would have plenty of space. My phone is also pro max. I’ve always enjoyed a K28 but perhaps I’ve been influenced by everyone on Instagram with their K25
It really depends on how you style it. K28 is not a briefcase for me. A K35 or 40 in a neutral color maybe.
Here are two photos of me. One with a K25 Sellier and the other one with K28 Retourne. I don’t have good photos of me with K25 Retourne or K28 Sellier. But none look like a briefcase kind of bag.
I buy both sizes as they both work for me. I have no problem taking either size to an afternoon tea (after shopping with friends) or to a bar or a casual dinner.
I don’t own bigger K’s because I can’t make them work with my style. That said, I won’t mind owning a Barenia K35 or bigger because I can definitely make that work.

This is just JMO but I think the B25 can look toylike because it's a tote and was designed to be a larger bag (no disrespect to the B25, I have them and love them) whereas the Kelly design adapts better to smaller sizes.
Have you considered 28 retourné? To me the softness of retourné takes away any "boxy" or "corporate" worries (and I do know what you mean, I felt this way about a K32 sellier I used to own...it was such a power bag!).
All of the options are elegant and ladylike but I do think 28 is more classic.
You have articulated it perfectly regarding the B25 - and yes, I agree it is still a gorgeous bag (not to mention it has become the ‘it’ bag on Instagram along with its sister K25). The K28 in retourne would be the perfect size but I do love the boxy-ness of Sellier (could I be more complex?!). This really is a case of goldilocks!
I just hear stories of people saying their K28 is too boxy/corporate and is easily knocked etc and that the K25 can be taken to dinner much more easily. But when I tried on the K25, my immediate thought was it looks so small with my height/shape and wasn’t what I imagined after seeing so many photos on Instagram of people holding it. Both bags can be quite deceiving in photos but maybe this is to my advantage because it means the K28 won’t look as ‘large’ as it appears in some pics!

I think that a K25 almost looks like a toy on my approximately 5‘4‘m (170cm) XS/S size. Plus, there is not really space to spare after a phone, Mini-Wallet, headphones, key and some tissues (in sellier at least) . But, again, this is personal taste - I am happily wearing a K32 Sellier for everyday which probably a lot of people might find too big.
Curious how you find the K28 on you? Would you wear it to say dinners (date night etc) if K32 is your day bag?
