Kelly 25 and 28 on 5’1 sizing help!!

FWIW I am 5'2" and I can carry up to a 28 retourné. The 28 sellier is a bit boxy unless I'm wearing heels. The 32 and 35 I can only get away with hand-carried and slouchy (which is why I don't have any Ks in this size). The Birkin is different as it's a tote and not worn the same way.
So, for me, it's 28 retourné and 25 in either seller or retourné. After that it's all about capacity, as the 28 holds quite a bit more.
petite kelly 32 & 28 owners - pics?
i'm thinking of getting a kelly, i found a 32 retourne in a color i like. i can't try on the kelly at all, so i'm going by pics online (and having a hard time finding too many with petite ladies and/or the bag crossbody). i know i want either 28 or 32 (28 might suit me better though) does anyone...

I'm 5 ft 2 as well, I have both 28 in Sellier and Retourné. The Sellier looks perfect with coats and jackets, but can look a bit boxy on me in the summer. The retourné in 28 is perfect. So for that reason I'd ideally recommend the Sellier in 25 and retourné in 28. I've got lots of photos on my instagram if you want to look. its pamelastylepop there too.

Even the enormous by todays standards 42 JPG Kelly fringe can look cute, depending on styling
better with a bigger coat. here compared to 28 sellier box; a 30 black barenia B; and, a 25B sellier gold with a huge coat
apologies for hogging the thread. I just didn’t want you to feel you couldnt wear a bigger size if you wanted one
ETA: TPFers still adore the smaller sizes, but everything from runway and current fashion suggests a trnd back towards larger pieces, so style longevity is also perhaps a factor to consider

I’m The same height and o think my 25s look too big on me!! The mini Kelly looks best on my frame imo. Def get a 25 over a 28
I'm not even 5'0 and have both 25 and 28 size. They all look proportional on me. I had the 35cm Birkin in the past and if you pair with higher heels, it would look perfectly fine as well.

I’m about 5’1” and 120lbs. The size difference is more noticeable depending on the angle/position the bag is held. I prefer the 25.

I think you can work any size bag you want but it depends more on what's your style and what's your lifestyle like? If its more "classic", dressy, maybe a 25 would fit with that better. Or if you like the relaxed street edgy vibe, an oversized retourne wouldn't seem out of place.

It looks great! 25 is perfect for you (and personally I think 25 sellier is so small it can't look too prim). Also twins on the stack I just noticed (mine's mixed WG and RG) hahahaha!!!
