Keeping bags you don't use

I can't use a stationery or sticker set unless I have two cause then I will be sad when the set I have is all gone.

I'm the same way still! Even with Christmas cards, I'll be sad if I use them all up, so I have one or two of all the Christmas cards I have ever bought. I never thought of it as OCD, but maybe it is!

have come as far as listing some of my bags on eBay, but in the morning I had to cancel all the auctions because I couldn't stand the fact that I am selling my babies!!!

HA!! At least you attempt to sell them! I don't even like it when my handbags aren't in my closet. My sister likes to borrow them and I have sooooo much trouble parting with them for even a short time. I feel so selfish, but I can't help myself!

Afraid I'm like Noriko, Greenie, Inky paws and LV addict -- once I buy them I can't bear to part with them. Even if they are currently only serving as "closet decoration"

I'm on the fence...I love all my bags, but really, I have too many and they take up way too much space. But I hate to part with my bags...I remember every bag I bought and why I love it, so I don't know...But i would like to sell a couple and get the money so I can buy the wallet in my avatar!

i don't sell mine. i keep them all!

I am pretty much like that...unless it is a bag that I have never used. For me, it signifies that it isn't the right bag for me.

If I used them....they are loved and part of my collection.

I try to think about how often I'll use the bag before deciding whether or not to sell it. Right now I'm debating selling my green suede Coach hobo, since I have a Balenciaga in a very similar color. I have something against having more than one bag in the same color. I guess the only exception to that would be the LV monogram canvas and damier, which I already own two LV bags, and plan to add more to my collection. I am attached to my bags, but if I'm not going to use one, I'd rather sell it to someone who will instead of having it sit in my closet. Besides, the money I make can go toward the purchase of a new bag

There are many of them that I don't use due to the following reasons:
1. Can't use them with my current life style.
2. Too old...the bags that is.
3. Too old...Me that is.
4. Didn't like them 100% to start with so don't use them but can't sell because not a big name, good quality Italian bags nevertheless.
5. Not durable so reluctant to use such as the Damier Sauvage.

What to do?

well, to be quite honest, i've never had expensive bags! Ever since I bought my first piece last year, i've been selling all my old bags to get money for new and better ones... I've kept some of my old bags, like the very first handbag my mum bought me! :shame: so basically, yes i do keep bags that i dont use and will only sell them if i REALLy need too
