Keep or sale???

An SA brought a petrol spy out and since she knew I was particular about loose threads and such she literally took a scissors out and started cutting the bag's threads rather roughly right in front of me. It looked like she might have even damaged the bag.

You would think that all the threads would have been taken care of when it was made...the fact that they have to clip them in the boutiques before a sale is ludicrous and totally unacceptable.

Noriko....sorry about your bad experiences. Maybe it's just isolated to the HI Fendi store?

No idea, I don't spend enough time @ the continental boutiques to know for sure, however, I don't really want to take any chances

Noriko is right! They were about to sale me adefective one on display and I said "NO WAY!" They went in the back and got me another one. They still left the defect one on display to sale, I'm sure they sold it. The threading was horrible on the defective one. Thanks Noriko for sharing, I will not buy another Spy. One is more than enough for me then. I talked to my little sis lastnight and she also talked me out of getting the bronze spy. She says color is way too trendy. I agree, but still so beautiful.

Glad that you checked your bag carefully...I am just so angry about how SAs are passing on defective abgs left and right

Even the paddington with an oil spot got sold to someone else, which was made clear because my SA asked me if I had forgotten anything in it because the next customer probably wont be so pleased I was like omfg..horrible! But its not like I can stop them anyway:suspiciou

Wow! I'm really sorry you had such a bad experience. For me it's a shock because I own spy's and they are both perfect. I guess I better look carefully on the next one I purchase. Which will definately happen, I love the spy bag.
