Katy Perry's Surprise Guest for Halftime Show 2015 Revealed!

Katy Perry will be hitting the stage at the 2015 Super Bowl to headline the halftime show and she will bringing some special guests along with her.

The 30-year-old singer previously announced that Lenny Kravitz would be joining her on stage and during her press conference on Thursday (January 29), she said there’s a female guest as well!

“This is true. I have to keep some surprises for Sunday and I’m very, very excited about this guest because I thought long and hard about it and wanted to kinda bring someone back, like a throwback of sorts, that definitely needed some more shine,” Katy said during the conference. “All I can say is it will be a real female-fun night.”

Missy Elliott will reportedly be hitting the stage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, according to The Associated Press.

“When you hear the first ring of the chord,” Katy teased of Missy‘s appearance in the show. “I think jaws will drop and faces will melt.”

Katy Perry is on fire while performing during the 2015 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show held at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday (February 1) in Glendale, Ariz.

“Super Bowl, are you ready to rock?!” the 30-year-old singer told the crowd while standing on top of a giant lion.

Here are the songs that Katy performed in order: “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” “I Kissed a Girl” with Lenny Kravitz, “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “Get Your Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control” with Missy Elliott, and finally “Firework” in a stunning outfit.

Katy looked so sick in her fire outfit while her dancers did some awesome moves around her on the chess board-stage. She even did three costume changes throughout the performance and flew away during the final song!

I am not a fan, but she did put on a show.

The singing trees and sharks really killed me though. They were so incredibly ridiculous and over the top as to move into "awesomely terrible" territory.

I thought the singing sharks and beach balls were cute. There is no such thing as being over-the-top in a Super Bowl halftime show. Sophistication would be out of place there.

Katy Perry's Halftime Show Was Most Watched in Super Bowl History

Katy Perry has some big news to celebrate – her Super Bowl Halftime Show was the most watched one in history!

The 30-year-old singer’s performance was viewed by 118.5 million people, which tops the previous record holder by 3.2 million viewers, according to Billboard.

Bruno Mars previously held the record for his halftime show last year, which had an audience of 115.3 million people.
