Because she looks really vibrant and great sometimes and really bland and boring others. Not referring to fashion choices -- just her face.
I thought the red carpet look at the AMAs was bad. The hair looked crazy to me. My hair looks like that when I've had it in a low bun all night.

The 29-year-old singer was joined by Christina Ricci at the ball, which honored Danny Glover with the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award.

On having kids: Im definitely not there yet, and I cant plan that far in advance. When I decide to have a family, Ill just want to be Mom for a little bit.[Brand] really wanted me to have children, and I knew I wasnt ready I think it was a way of control. I think it was part of, If I have a kid, then I would have to sacrifice Id have to be home more. I really wanted to, but I knew I wasnt ready for it. It wasnt like, Hey, lets have a kid because were in love.
On her on-and-off relationship with boyfriend John Mayer: I took a break from my boyfriend, not one that I wanted. It was like a splash of cold water to search inward on what was going on with me. That is what let me to this new awakening, this realizing, If I dont do some self-love, Im not going to be able to keep the love that I want. I still needed to deal with all of my ex-husband stuff. I hadnt. Its almost like if I kept talking about it, it would seem like I actually cared about it. I dont.
On the dark hours following her split from ex-husband Russell Brand: There were two weeks of my life after I found out the truth of my marriage where I was like, OK. All right. I cant feel this. This is too intense right now. I was, like, just eating Flamin Hot Cheetos and drinking, and thats it.

Yeah, I don't get why she is still going on about him in interviews, is this really helping sell records? I can't imagine any other reason why she'd do it.

I guess she will not be performing on any French award shows any time soon after that lip sync debacle.
What a mess that was! They seemed to play the wrong track (vocals and backing, instead of just backing), and judging by the fact Katy was singing different lyrics, her playblack and what was played to the audience were completely different. There was about a 15sec delay as well, since she didn't even come out until halfway through the first verse.
Someone mentioned that one year they accidently awarded her with something that was meant for Rihanna. I doubt she'll be back....
