It was just earlier this week that Katy Perry and John Mayer finally confirmed they were dating, after Katy was heard describing him as her 'boyfriend'. And it seems, now the cat's out of the bag, the couple couldn't wait to flaunt their new love in public. Katy and John were seen heading to a restaurant in New York on Saturday in what appeared to be coordinated outfits, with purple being the uniting theme.

The 28-year-old was seen carrying a card in her hand and a bottle of whiskey as they arrived. It's believed that the beverage is in fact a 21 year old Laphroaig Single Malt Whiskey, worth a whopping $1000. The pop star carried the bottle in one hand, while in the other she carried a deep red coloured bag.

Yes, I saw a pic of her without makeup and she def looks different. But she wears too much makeup, it always looks caked on IMO. She would still look good with less/more natural makeup.

I agree.

I love her scarf in the last set of pics! She can do better - he's UGH. And he's dated everybody. But I do agree that physically, they look good together.

Katy you can do so much better! I like her heavy makeup, it's very "her." She's always dressing up in fun outfits, and doing crazy hair and makeup colors, but I agree she looks more beautiful with a more natural look.
