As a famous British actress, she's no stranger to looking her best.

And Kate Beckinsale, 39, continued her chic style after spending the day at London Fashion Week on Monday.

The star looked stylish later that evening in a sleek black outfit as she went out to eat at Scott's restaurant in London.

Earlier in the day Kate was joined by daughter Lily Mo, 12, at London Fashion Week show Burberry Prorsum.

The pair sat in the front row and were joined by a number of A-list stars at the high profile event.

Lily showed off her own style next to her immaculate mother as she wore a sophisticated print dress with her hair blow-dried straight.

The Kate mini-me even had red nail polish on as she sat next to her grinning mother as she watched the models walk past showing off the autumn/winter collection.

She has admitted in the past to practicing yoga five times a week

And the dedicated exercise regime is certainly paying off for Kate Beckinsale.

The 40-year-old showed off her incredibly toned and taut body in a bikini while lounging poolside with husband Len Wiseman in Los Cabos, Mexico on Wednesday.

The Total Recall star displayed an impressively toned mid-section in a purple floral bandeau top and matching bottoms.

She first wore her long dark hair loose before securing it in a messy high bun and topping off her looked with large brown sunglasses.

The actress appeared to be having ball as she chatted with her husband and lazily lay on top of him on the sunlounger.

The English actress has said that she practices yoga at least five times a week, and often with yoga expert Mandy Ingber who also works with Jennifer Aniston.

She appeared on comedienne Chelsea Handler's show After Lately earlier this year to show off some of her smooth yoga moves.

And her trainer spoke with E! Online, saying that even while on vacation, the actress makes sure to keep up with her workouts.

'She has a naturally beautiful body, so yoga really keeps her toned and trim, highlighting her shape. She is very in tuned into her body,' Mandy Ingber said.

'If she is on vacation, we schedule Skype sessions, or she uses my Yogalosophy DVD,' she continued.

'Being committed is key.'

To me she is someone who clearly demonstrates that it takes a lot more than beauty to reach A list fame and sustain public's interest. She is the perfect example of a stunning beauty but no x factor or anything else to offer. She has one of the most flawless faces out there with a great body but I don't really care about what she has to say or what she is wearing. I just don't find her interesting.

The thing with actors/actresses, I only like the characters they play and in the case of Kate, i'm addicted to her action firm characters (Selene in Underworld and Anna in Van Helsing). The Much Ado About Nothing star will next appear in the drama, The Trials of Cate McCall, with Nick Nolte and James Cromwell. In it, Kate plays a former hotshot lawyer fighting to be reinstated at the bar and attempting to recover custody of her daughter.

Next year, the Last Days of Disco actress plays the title role in the thriller Eliza Graves. The film, also starring Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley, is about mental patients who take over their asylum.

Kate Beckinsale is super chic as she attends the Oriental Movie Metropolis Ceremony on Sunday (September 22) in Qingdao, China.

The 40-year-old actress was joined at the event by Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The Oriental Movie Metropolis is a multi-billion dollar film park project, which is being financed by China’s richest man Wang Jianlin.

A few days earlier, Kate was spotted arriving at LAX Airport for her flight out of Los Angeles.
