Mental illness is hard to deal with on all sides. You can’t force someone with mental illness into help or taking medication or anything else that can help them. What makes it even more tragic is that he has all the resources in the world available to him for help. Most people do not have access to the level of help/support needed when they suffer such severe mental illness. It also still blows my mind that he’s free and Britney was under a conservatorship for years before she was freed (and really shouldn’t have been released). Male privilege has allowed him to be free and terrorize family, friends, employees, and the general public.
Did anyone see what he posted on some site (was it X??🤷♀️) I just saw the repost on FB that he’s since removed. Basically saying you don’t see Jay Z and Beyoncé’s younger children because they are (insert offensive name here).
I agree with you. Both of them have the means to get the best help available. Unfortunately, neither one has the self-awareness that they need it nor the inclination to act on it. It’s been a long time since Britney’s breakdown that caused the conservatorship and I think many forget just what horrible shape she was in. The difference between the two is Britney acts out, whereas Kanye (usually) uses words. She was shaving her head, attacking photographers, driving her baby around on her lap, and locking herself and her son in a bedroom and refusing to come out. She put herself and her kids at risk. Kanye spews hateful rhetoric and has tantrums like a spoiled brat, but we all know he loves himself more than anything and would never self-harm. With Britney that isn’t as certain.
I still worry about his wife who he parades around naked like his prized show pony, but she has free will and she’s had opportunity to leave and hasn’t. There’s mental issues there as well.
Yes, I doubt that Kanye would actively seek to unlive himself, however overdoses happens.
He has no business having contact with his children until he decides to make meaningful changes.
Kim is taking too many chances with her children, imo. Body guards or not.
Oddly, until recently I never had much concern that the kids were at risk. He isn’t exactly an engaged father. When he would see them, he would usually take them somewhere incredibly exclusive and expensive and then, in typical narcissistic fashion, brag about it. Both Kim and Kanye spoiled the kids rotten and we’ll see the results of that for years to come. North is only 11 and already looks bored with the world.
It is a concern that one or more of the kids will inherit his mental problems.
This is a form of neglect. Hopefully, they have loving and competent personnel.
Ye is not safe to be around his kids alone. He had North and Kim had to pull her from their visit when bodyguards told her that the tate brothers were coming. Any parent who would invite them to visit when they have their underage daughter with them is not a safe parent period.
