K28 Gris Tourterelle vs. K25 Gris Alsphalt

I just happen to love swift. I don't own anything in swift nor either color you're considering (so I'm hardly an expert!) but swift / GA is on my short list to get next if my SA can find it. For me GT is a little too warm, I personally prefer cooler toned grays but I know many people adore GT and it's a highly treasured color.

For the size, it's just personal preference that I like the proportions of the K28/32 better than the K25 but when I'm choosing an item I go for leather/color over size as long as the size isn't a total nonstarter.
You’re right Gris T is warmer and my grey clothing pieces are more cool toned, I don’t know if this would make it harder to pair the bag with my outfits.

I would vote for Gris T in clemence (color, price point, leather)
I have gris A myself and love the color but gris T is always on my wishlist, also I can’t take care of swift even though swift takes the color best compares to other leathers.
Good luck with your choice.
What do you have in Gris A? I have the impression that Gris A would match more easily with my mostly cool toned outfits. Is Gris T in the same colour family with Etoupe as “greige”?

Thank you. Is Swift very fragile? I wouldn’t use the bag everyday but would love to not baby it all the time.

Swift is generally considered more “fragile” than Clemence. I own several bags in both Swift in Clemence — both are great leathers, I don’t think you can go wrong. If you are clumsy and/or “very hard” on your bags, then I would advise Clemence. If you are average and/or generally take care of your things, you should not be afraid of Swift.

Thank you. I’ve also seen some vintage Kelly in box, is it much more scratch-prone than swift?
If Clemence got 10 points in terms of durability, how many points would you give Togo, Swift, Evercolor and Box had you experienced them?

I would vote k25 but that’s because I don’t carry much so that size suits me and fits all my essentials. As many has mentioned already colour wise they’re similar. Also price wise it’s the norm for smaller bags to cost more than the bigger ones after market just because it’s the trend and more sought after currently. I own swift bags and they’re honestly not as fragile as it’s reputation. How I see it is that clemence is a heavier and thicker leather so in a bigger size it will be prone to slouch. Swift is a softer buttery pliable leather so it will also slouch but less obvious in a smaller size. So it comes down to leather preference and lifestyle preference and I don’t think you can go wrong with either as the Kelly is just so beautiful! And k28 is a great size for everyday! I know you’ve mentioned you’ve chosen already and said the reseller doesn’t have the receipt. I don’t find this an issue as I often buy pre loved due to limited stock availability / colours from previous season, etc. And receipts can also be faked, just ensure you either pay through a secure protective method and also get it authenticated first!

Box scratches, too, but it spas beautifully AND the scratches blend in with the patina over time.

It sounds more and more in your posts that like you are frightened of scratches. I would then steer clear of smooth leathers as a safety net....leaning Togo, Epsom, and Clemence for your happiness. Just my two cents.
