Scarves Just say 'no' to Brides de Gala - what reissues do we really want?

I forgot to mention how I yearn for a reissue of Hugo Gykyar's 1950' s masterpiece 'Les Plaisirs du Froid' - I look for it in the reissues list every winter season. I've never seen it in the flesh - only old photos - but there is just something in the exuberance of the skater's poses and the fringing that draws me in. If Hermes had a money no object bespoke scarf reissue facility I'd probably remortgage my house for that one.

I completely agree with more varieties of mousselline - their day had gone by the time I could get to the shops!
There's a video of that scarf by MaiTai! :)

I know we should all be ecstatic for reissues of those sought after designs, but I ask myself what could be done with them that hasn't been done already?
For example, my personal favourites , La Femme aux Semelles de Vent , and Turandot.
All the best colours have been done , and heaven save us from mash ups !

Brides de Gala has such strength as a design IMO , therefore it flows and still looks modern when tied.
It can be messed with in an infinite number of ways and still comes out looking just fine.
Much as I love and buy the new designs and the decorative oldies like Turandot , my several B de G. are the most worn.

Better cws or more specifically speaking for myself, a neutral option WITHOUT an orange hem is preferred! I know you're asking about the older designs but just to illustrate a point, there are quite a few designs from this FW2017 collection that I like but the color palette does nothing for me, so I have to sit out and hope that next season's colors are better. But I'm on the same page with you on the mash ups or even the bloc overlay as seen on the Coup de Fouet (SS17) and Le Pegase (FW17) 140 silks this year. Please, just no to those. :blah:
