There really is nothing like the in-person experience. I’m two hours away from good shopping, but it’s such a treat when I can do it.(Truly thinking of all my fellow LV fans impacted by Hurricane Beryl & the wildfires out west! Praying for all of you who have been affected and our incredible first responders.)
Today, after a few years of building my collection online via the LV site, 24s, Rebag & the RealReal, I made an appointment and had my first in-store experience with my new SA! It was wonderful!I got to return a SLG that didn't quite work for me, ordered a couple DE SLGs I've been wanting, sent in my favorite NF (a preloved Karakoram!) for strap replacement, and got on my SA's radar for the cognac Neverfull once it comes in.
And! I picked up this absolute beauty! Sooo excited about my new DE Félicie Pochette! This was her suggestion! I thought I'd get a wallet, but this was so much better for me. She joked "I see that you're a DE lady who likes a pop of red... I'll keep my eye out for you!"
Done with online purchases for now. I'm very happy with my SA! I live an hour away if you don't count traffic, and there's always traffic, but there's nothing quite like being able to go into the store. What a great July day!

My Soft Speedy 30 arrived. It's really a nice bag in person. You guys inspired me with this one and I'm impressed. I would have missed out on this one.

You know I love it @LittleStar88! It’s a perfect color and fit! Every now and then I see my stack of supplies for my mini agenda that you and I were waiting on together, and laugh about how many papers, inserts, notebooks etc. I have for it. Can’t wait to hear what inspired and poetic things you write in this luxury notebook 🤓
I must apologize, when you said you gave up and succumbed to this pricey notebook because you “lost your mind” I laughed out loud in recognition. I spent an hour this week finding all the chain strap extenders I ever bought for different bags to find THE right one with the right hw color, connecter and style for a new Evelyne tpm I got. I needed about 1.5 inches length for comfortable crossbody, and I just KNEW I had one that was perfect. Welp I didn’t. I of course had one in the right length and color, but wrong connector and proportion. I indeed lost my mind, finally gave up and tied a Twilly over the darn thing so no one could see. Even though I usually have a small scarf on my TPM’s, somehow it still must the EXAXT one. In theory, problem solved. And yet…😆😆
Methinks one or two of us here might share some of that obsessive attention to detail 😆😆😆 of course that’s why all of us always look fabulous!!! 😇 love that pink pop notebook for sure, enjoy!💗

Yay! So glad you love it. If you are like many of us, a 20 fills up to a 20 size, a 25 to a 25 size and so on. Before long you will carry enough things to fill your 30 😆 or maybe not. Either way what a lovely first LV leather piece. Enjoy!!
What a heartbreaking situation for you and hubs, and so many in that situation. It’s horrifying to watch from a distance, hard to fathom what it must feel like to you and others that live with a constant threat of wildfire. Of course your family and all your animals are priority, what an intense horrible thing to live through. So glad you did!!Thank you for being so kind
I worry every year just like coloradolvr said. I didn’t feel brave and I cried like a baby. I didn’t want my DH to stay behind. Our animals are our everything. So getting as many to safety as possible is the goal. I know most folks in that situation do the exact same.
I cant say enough thank you’s to those brave men and women who go out there and fight those fires.
I saw recently in a big forest fire in California that the firefighters were opening gates to let livestock run. Essentially saving them. That is of course the absolute last option. Finding a scared horse is pretty difficult.
Shoot I had one horse get loose the other day and he ran around eating wild sunflowers for 45 minutes. Catching them can be pretty difficult even when they aren’t scared 😂
Had to laugh at your horse that “stopped to smell the flowers” but sounds like he wouldn’t stop for you 🤣 not quite so funny when you are trying to catch him, but a nice juxtaposition to the horrible things that happen sometimes. Hope your new beauties will be coming your way soon!!

I’m giggling right now because I was going through my stationary the other day and didn’t realize just how much assorted agenda things I had bought. I literally bought stuff, put it away and forgot about it, and bought other bits and bobs. And then the “oh that’s cute!” stuff… I was slightly mortified by my collection and I think I can start my own agenda stationary store now
Isn’t it funny the rabbit holes we fall down in an attempt to make these things just perfect! We’ve all gone mad a time or two and it’s ok. We had fun and it was part of the journey!
PS: Stashed away with my bag odds and ends are lots of random bag extenders. I won’t talk about the drawer I have filled with assorted bag inserts/organizers!
Thank you. It is also my first speedy 30. I put all the same stuff from my Odeon mm and it’s heavy in this bag but I luv it so it’s not going anywhere. My back will just have to suffer lol.
