Thank you so much! I have enjoyed looking at all of your beautiful purchases as well! We are kindred spirits. We have a horse property in the mountains of Colorado. So glad to be back to a high of 77 degrees versus 115!!!
Thank you!
We are most definitely kindred spirits 🄰
I bet you are appreciative of 77 degrees. That is a beautiful temperature. I left the cave creek area outside of Phoenix a few years back and am thankful to be up near Prescott. But we are set to push 100 in the pines 😳 I was down in the valley Wednesday and it was 118. That’s just dumb heat and I’m an AZ native šŸ˜‚

That's scary high heat for pines. We are always worried about fire danger. Our area is somewhat touristy, and we get people camping and leaving their fires without fully extinguishing. Always on high alert. Praying you don't have wind!!

It is definitely fire season around here too. We get so many idiots out here every weekend fleeing Phoenix 😳
It is scary isn’t it. Fire season is high alert. I understand exactly how you feel.
We had to evacuate a few years back and it was frightening watching that fire come over the mountain. My husband stayed to water the area around the house and release other horses if needed. I drove away with 8 horses loaded in tears. Praying everyone would make it through. We dodged a bullet but it got too close. Thank goodness for the wild land firefighters who save so many homes and lives ā¤ļø

Celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas where we were married on the 4th of July. My favorite CA moved to the store in the Wynn a few months back. He invited us to visit him in his new store to pick up my preordered Pochette XL. He knows me so well and put this super fun bandana and charm on the bag. I told him to leave it on when he wrapped it up because I will never be able to tie it like he did! If you haven't had the opportunity to visit this store, make it a point if you are in the area. The store and experience are like none other!

I also picked up the new Speedy Soft 30 in Arizona. Like others have said, it's a truly amazing bag. I have loved the Speedy bag since I started my collection over 25 years ago. I think it's the perfect version of the Speedy! Had it hot stamped with the new LVovers stamp. So cute! Other purchase not pictured was the playing cards with beautiful western images. I knew this collection would be trouble for me, but thankfully I was able to narrow it to my most favorite pieces.

Yikes! Why can’t people learn how to properly be in nature and the world!?!?! I bet you are on high alert. I am glad you had such a nice trip to Vegas, and I bet you are glad to be home and not be baking like a cookie on a baking sheet in LV!

Oh my wildwest81, that evacuation and the lives of your family and horses and other animals too sounds terrifying and heartbreaking. Glad it was ok for you and yours, know it must not have been for everyone in the path. Yes, thank goodness for such firefighters. They have such an uphill battle these days.

Little wonder this collection is truly your kryptonite!

(Truly thinking of all my fellow LV fans impacted by Hurricane Beryl & the wildfires out west! Praying for all of you who have been affected and our incredible first responders.)

Today, after a few years of building my collection online via the LV site, 24s, Rebag & the RealReal, I made an appointment and had my first in-store experience with my new SA! It was wonderful! I got to return a SLG that didn't quite work for me, ordered a couple DE SLGs I've been wanting, sent in my favorite NF (a preloved Karakoram!) for strap replacement, and got on my SA's radar for the cognac Neverfull once it comes in.

And! I picked up this absolute beauty! Sooo excited about my new DE FƩlicie Pochette! This was her suggestion! I thought I'd get a wallet, but this was so much better for me. She joked "I see that you're a DE lady who likes a pop of red... I'll keep my eye out for you!"

Done with online purchases for now. I'm very happy with my SA! I live an hour away if you don't count traffic, and there's always traffic, but there's nothing quite like being able to go into the store. What a great July day!

In a combination of laziness/giving up/lost my mind, I broke down and bought the pink PM notebook to go with my empriente pink PM cover. They look pretty together!

Of course it’s a perfect fit for the cover. At this price point I’ll need to be thoughtful in how I use it. At least now I can take it into stationary stores to see if I can find a less expensive duplicate that will fit in the cover properly.

That pink is so pretty 🤩

I finally picked up my bag! It’s my first leather bag from Lv. I love this color and the regular monogram so I had to have it. It’s a little big for me because I don’t carry that much but we’ll see. I bet next year they’ll come out with a size 25.

I can’t even imagine driving 8 horses away from my home to avoid a pending disaster, while my DH stays behind as you described. Much respect, wildwest!

Thank you for being so kind :hugs:
I worry every year just like coloradolvr said. I didn’t feel brave and I cried like a baby. I didn’t want my DH to stay behind. Our animals are our everything. So getting as many to safety as possible is the goal. I know most folks in that situation do the exact same.
I cant say enough thank you’s to those brave men and women who go out there and fight those fires.
I saw recently in a big forest fire in California that the firefighters were opening gates to let livestock run. Essentially saving them. That is of course the absolute last option. Finding a scared horse is pretty difficult.

Shoot I had one horse get loose the other day and he ran around eating wild sunflowers for 45 minutes. Catching them can be pretty difficult even when they aren’t scared šŸ˜‚
