~JULY/AUGUST~ our new Balenciaga acquisitions!

Been wanting something in Anthracite, but waiting for a good buy to pop up. Got this for a great price, given that it’s almost pristine (no mirror, though I don’t mind). The color tends heavily green. If I were a Bal novice, I’d just call it a deep green.

Very, very pretty
Makes me cry for the Anthra Velo I gave to my mom who trashed the poor thing...:smash:

She’s here! She’s here! And she exceeds expectations! :yahoo:
@haisley, thank you so very much. I’m so glad I couldn’t get the other one, because this one has smooshy, light, wrinkly, wonderful leather!
For such a large bag, she is incredibly lightweight.
I spent quite some time making a front zipper pull for her. Hats off to people who work in leather, it was very difficult, but I think I did OK.

Now I need a trip! Those pockets are going to be perfect for passports and boarding passes, no more fumbling around to find them.

This gorgeous rose weekender finally arrived late this afternoon. It began its travels in Germany, waiting a full week to catch a plane across the Atlantic, landed, went through customs, came to my city, then backtracked to Cincinnati for several days. Made me think of this guy.

WKRP in Cincinnati

Anyhow, it did leave Cincinnati and has finally made it to my house.

I love how our bags are going around to different members here. You know something you cherished and appreciated will continue to be.
The camaraderie and support here are heartwarming.

Has anyone ever bought a bag out of sheer curiosity? I just did. I don't need whatever this is (I own too many Day bags, and already have Couriers and other travel bags). But I'm dying to hold this in my hand to see its dimensions in person. It's certainly not a "Classic Day Bag". Looks like a hybrid between a Day and a Courier, but hard to tell. It's crazy deep. We shall see.

I can’t recall the season for it but I’ve seen them before.

Looking forward to your reveal!

May I offer that every purchase from TRR is out of sheer curiosity…
