What a stunner, I've never seen a limited edition Bal like this, but now I'm totally obsessed. Beautiful details, especially on the handles. Congrats on adding this beauty to your collection.

The unique detailing really sets this one apart. Even the mirror has gold mesh trim on it. That being said, the leather is terrible. An unforgiving shiny black hole of stiffness that highlights every fingerprint it comes across. I'll be stowing a microfiber cloth while carrying this one.

Remember that RT City from TRR last week?
Turns out, it wasn't RT
It was Bordeaux AND it appears to have been hiding in the back of someone's closet for the last 20 years!

On the one hand, I'm thrilled to have a bag that looks like it just left Barneys in 2005, but on the other, I was so excited about what looked like a new RT City :hrmm:

I’m not seeing it with my own eyeballs like you are, but based on photos this looks like RT to me. My Bordeaux bags are darker, and my RTs are about this tone.

Your RT looks ways darker than my RTs ever looked. The RTs I've had were most definitely red (I described it as Blood Red). Bordeaux is dark with almost black undertones

The paper tag of the bag I received is exactly the same as the paper tag from my older Bordeaux City (color code 560)
The color code of Rouge Theatre on the Work I recently sold is 368

I was actually showing my old Bordeaux and a Marron in the photo I posted. Some of the photos of your new Bordeaux are showing up much lighter than the same bag in the close-ups..

Both colors can be mistaken for the other in photos... I've been fooled more than once.

The closeup photos do look Bordeaux. The earlier handle photo in particular looked like RT, especially the
lacing which looks like the lacing on your RT work, and more “red” than the lacing on Bordeaux (see Fayden’s for comparison).

FYI, though we’ve tried, we weren’t able to decode the last numbers on the paper tag. They are not color codes, though we don't know what they are. There’s a good thread (linked) showing the efforts to find a pattern and sleuth out what those codes are.

Not sure if the paper tag you posted with the city is the current bag or your old Bordeaux city since the last number is 260, not 560. For what it’s worth, the 260 number on the paper tag shows up in the thread linked below for an RT city.

Blablablablabla all these words don’t detract from your bag’s gorgeousness.
