My pretty window charm arrived two days ago. I love it.

Love the tree and the cute window heart I don't have that one. Bought 2 retired preowned charms recently and need some advice on replacing the crystals . I live in Irvine , California
And I am having trouble finding the really small crystals . Michaels doesn't seem to have any that are small enough or if someone knows the size I could probably order them online . Enclosing pics ImageUploadedByPurseForum1423370530.540285.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1423370588.796061.jpg

Wow! That looks so great! Thanks for sharing! There are so many great heart charms. You mixed it up with the rose bouquets - nice!

I have also had frustrations trying to replace crystals in various items, not JC charms though. A Pair of D&G sunglasses with bling on the side pieces, and some vintage brooch pins. I wonder if JC would reply if you sent them a message?

Other than that, try going to a specialty bead shop. They should be able to help better than a big-box store like Michaels or JoAnns. Or a local-only jeweler that has a good selection of estate jewelry?

I don't have the whistle, but I have the lighthouse. When hubby gets home I'll see if he can measure the crystal with these little caliper things he has. I think you're looking for a flat-back rivoli crystal - someone correct me if I'm wrong. It might be a flat-back xilion.

edit: I just googled "replace rhinestones in jewelry DIY" and there's lots of info....thanks for bringing this topic up, as I've been meaning to get some repairs done! Except it's a gorgeous warm day here considering it's February, & I have to get onto other outside things...

Thanks Xatrina I unfortunately have not been able to locate a specialty bead shop in Cali . In Hawaii I had a great store that would even sell crystals individually . Let me know if your hubby is able to measure .

Also happy Valentine's Day to all you fellow charmies. Enclosing a pic of my valentines tree.View attachment 2888286

Love your little tree full of charms! Sooo cute!

RE: the crystals. I think I have some info someplace here because we have talked about this before. I will check and see if I can find it and post back if no one else has posted by then. I have charms that need crystals replaced also.

I know what size/type and am actually going to the Fashion District in LA tomorrow where the store is and can pick some up for you. They are around $2 for 100.
