I have Ripka, Yurman and Hardy. I love the fact that Ripka does an inexpensive line of sterling silver with diamonique stones for QVC, a little more upscale line for Saks, Neimans, with silver/18kt gold and then an ultra high line of 18kt and platinum for her boutiques...pieces for everyone. I also find I like more of her designs than I do Yurman and Hardy, but as I said I have purchased all three over the last three months.

If you only have a couple hundred to spend you can get a nice sterling silver piece from Ripka's QVC line, I will post some pictures from the many, many pieces I have.

Here is a link to the Ripka QVC pieces.

Since she uses pave diamonds, its impossible to tell they aren't the real thing, and her items look more platinum than silver, so they go with my other pieces. I probably have about 40 silver pieces from her that I mix in with my platinum and you can not tell. Here are a few recent purchases. For girls starting out with a limited budget this is the way to go.

More of my Ripka pieces. I wear the charm bracelet with just the lock and key and use the cognac heart on another bracelet. The key and lock have some pave on them, as do the stations in the bracelet.

It holds up beautifully. I wear it everyday and rarely have to clean it. The only neg I can come up with is that some of her original charms that hang off the bracelets have a closure that has a hook/eye, sometimes it opens and it comes off, but her new charms have push back lobster claw locks that do not come open and they are nice because you can move between her bracelets and necklaces. The QVC pieces from $30 (for tiny pinky rings) to about $325 for very heavy silver bracelets with real gemstones. I would definitely give them a try, QVC has a 30 no questions return policy.

oh I love JR. I have on of the chains and a pendant. I hope to buy another pendant shortly. Mine are also from the QVC line and I must say, excellent quality. i 've had no problems with it at all and its a bargain for designer jewelry!

I saw the qvc line, but I noticed that all of the pieces have simulated diamonds. I wish she had a piece that was strictly gemstone and silver on qvc. Personally, I'm not a really big fan of CZ. SHe has some lovely rings though.

^^ on her QVC line she uses diamonique which is CZ basically. I'm sure on her main line she uses real diamonds. I just wish her QVC line would at least have one basic sterling silver and gemstone rather than adding simulated diamonds.
