The RealReal has been selling some Joseph Duclos but the prices have been all over the place, so I would pay very close attention to their intended list price before it goes live or else they could end up selling it for next to nothing. As an example, they currently have a Saint-Clair Messenger listed for $3700 but about a month ago they had one that was seemingly brand new (the stickers were still on the hardware) that was snapped up for $385. And there were others that sold for even less than that several months ago, before TRR knew what Joseph Duclos was.

So the bottom line is: TRR should be able to sell it for you, but I would definitely help guide them toward an appropriate sale price. Their pricing is shockingly inconsistent.

Thank you so much for replying! Unfortunately, they only accept consignment within the US. It’s wild though the price difference is huge, and that they knew what JD was.

Guess I’m stuck with the bag for now. I just wish it could go to someone who’d actually use it, it’s such a beautifully made piece, and it’s just sitting in my closet.

My guess is that those insanely low prices were 1) missing a zero and 2) had a consignor that did not have price approval set up.

Anne’s sells JD, I’m not sure about FP, but I would only trust those two to handle any luxury bag especially one as pricey and less well known in the US.

Have you looked into Vestiaire? They are international.

What bag model is it? Also i would see if any local consignors will take that bag on if you explain the brand to them.
