Most likely it had to do with them not being invited to the wedding.
Alex and Joel were never thick as thieves. They were more like acquaintances because of Joel's friendship with Gustaf. The picture you're talking about was on the WB jet when they left Comic Con. Both their movies were promoted there.

Did Joel have an actual party for his wedding too along with the quickie ceremony that was just him and Cleo? Like were their parents even invited?
I have seen a ton of pics of just Alex and Joel hanging out though. Maybe because they have a lot of mutual friends too? For ex Fares Fares.
And yes this is the pic. You are right, I forgot both their movies were WB. What you said makes sense.

From the top of my head I can only think of three pics where they were seen together. But because they're part of the Swedish Mafia they of course hang out due to mutual friends. I just don't think they would do that just with the two of them.

Alex dated Amelia at some point, yes. He follows Joel on instragram but he does seem to follow quite randomly so Idk.. Since we so rarely seem to get any real insight to Alex and Gustaf's relationship I think it's nice to see he's a loyal brother :coolio: But it's always a shame when long term frienships break apart so hopefully they'll manage to patch up the rift at some point. It's hard not to think Cleo was/is the cause of the break. Idk what to say. I don't like her but if she's genuinely makes Joel happy then what can you say..

I feel like he's more into her than she's into him. She's along for the ride of seeing the world with her movie star husband. To be realistic here, I doubt this marriage will last. She's his first wife. Age difference will eventually always kick in and I don't know her stance on children or how mature she actually is. She doesn't seem that "enthusiastic" in pictures. I just hope that after the marriage is done he can mend his relationship with Gustaf/Matias.

Rumors always run screwy. That very well may be why Joel, Gustaf and Matias aren't tight anymore. The rumor that I heard was that Joel had a problem with Matias's gf. Around the time Matias was having his baby was when they stopped talking. Joel thought that Matias's GF Daniella was trapping him because she got pregnant. Gustaf and Matias got mad and stopped speaking to him. Don't know the real story but something obviously happened. I really truly thought I was the only one that thought Joel was into her more than she was into him. I think she is really pretty but never as enthused to be with him as he is with her. I don't get all the tattoos. I mean it is her body but I wouldn't want to be covered like that.

Makes total sense! She looks good by association and maybe can get new contacts for her own business. She does seem like someone who wants to be the next Kat von D and a TV show would help with that. Hence the connections her husband has. And a free green card.
