Jill's Consignment the real thing?

Here is an example of Jills consignment misleading the customer:

She is currently selling a Bottega bag on her consignment site for $2200.00 and she states, "NEW, NEVER Carried".

If you check out her ebay site where she buys and sells, look at the area where she left feedback as a buyer (transaction 190805021887) on March 10, 2013.

This will show you the transaction of her winning bid from the seller headjackking and she bought the very same bottega bag for $1325.00 (photos are still up at the ebay site).

The headjackking description is ( copied and pasted today from ebay):

This item was brought to me to sell for a private party. I am listed as a trading assistant on eBay although I do not sell on here any longer (4 items in 6 years) I am a full-time online auctioneer, please search krause auctioneering and visit my site. I am a trusted seller that operates with the highest of standards.

Now for the bag, it is located in Rochester, MN, we get many visitors from the United Arab Emirates, a area woman was given this item from an individual from there.

THE BAG: I did my best, I researched it and provided you the details I believe to be correct. The dimensions however were taken from the seams, so one could consider it larger, a couple of simular bags on eBay describe theirs as being a little larger.

Please call me a 507 319 0098 or email with your questions or insight on the bag.

Basically, my contention with Jill is that she maintains that on her jillsconsignment site that the Bottega bag is NEW and NEVER been used! Well according to the person that she bought the bag from at ebay who is very explicit in his description - the origin is unknown but likely came from the Middle East.

So, how can Jill honestly describe the bag as being NEW and NEVER Carried! There is no description from the original seller that the Bottega Bag that Jill won in the auction is new and never carried!

I don't trust her at all and I think my amateur sleuthing which uncovered her dishonesty is just the tip of the iceberg!

I am thinking something is up with her listings as well! All of her LVs have never been carried or are in perfect (new looking) condition!!! Even for bags made 10 years ago! They show no signs of patina. You can't have that many consignment bags in excellent condition. Either they are fake, or she took pictures of them when they were purchased and used those pictures to sell the "used" bag. Either way, something isn't right. I should have done more research before I placed a bag on layaway. I will probably loose my deposit....

Just a note, all of her other designer bags are either in excellent or new condition. How can you be a "consignment" store when all you are basically selling is new or like new items? I don't trust her stuff one bit. Maybe she used to sell legit items but doesn't seem like it anymore.

Do you have proof that her items are fake?
I can't speak for all the brands, but all of her Bottega Veneta bags currently for sale as well as all of the sold listings are authentic. Many of them are in excellent condition for their age.
If I had a dollar for every time I've seen someone buy a brand new bag only to have it sit in their closet unused for several years, I'd buy you the entire LV store.

I don't have proof as I'm not going through with the LV purchase. I'm also not that familiar with LV authenticating, but I've been trying to learn. The bag I wanted and every bag on there looks very real. What didn't sit well with me was the fact that she didn't have (that I could find) one "used" or "gently used" bag. I also found that she is selling more items on her Facebook page than her website (also"new'), and the LV monogram bags on her website are not for sale on EBay. This might not mean anything, but I can't get past how great all the bags are. Of course, that's what made me want to purchase the bag in the first place.
What really made me question the LV bag was that the heat stamp leather looks brand new for a 2006 bag. I'm not sure how long the patina process takes or if it comes to a hault when the bag is stored away since I've never owned an LV. I just didn't have a good feeling. I asked her to send me new pictures of the bag in case the pictures weren't recent but she didn't want to send me any.
I couldn't take a chance and spend $800 if I was having doubts. I really wanted that bag too. I hope I'm just being paranoid! She has really nice stuff on there, and I want that Gucci wallet.

Hi nwhite, I can assure you all of our bags are authentic. We do get a lot of never carried bags, and we get very used bags as well but we try not to take bags that are very worn. If you ever have questions about a specific item please email or call me and I can help you. Yes, you are correct in that we don’t post all of our bags on eBay. We put bags on eBay... and even Tradesy often, but we do it as time permits. Monogram pieces sell quickly on our own site so we wouldn’t necessarily put those items on other sites. I hope this helps to put your mind at ease.
