Jewelry Storage - How do you store your jewelry?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for new ways to store my jewelry. Before, jewelry boxes, even large sized or multiple jewelry boxes were useful, but now, I have so many boxes and over the years found that whatever I didn’t see regularly, I forgot I owned and consequently, did not wear.

Now I’m looking into jewelry trays and display fixtures. How do you store your jewelry? Do you separate your collections by categories/designers/occasions or do you mix VCA, CHANEL, Gucci, Hermès, etc., costume, and authentic precious stones/crystals all together?

My system is simple and it works for me: clear plastic storage containers and within those, either the original box or (easiest of all) clear plastic bags so I can actually see the pieces. But I still don't wear everything regularly, so I'll be looking for tips as well from others.

Large Stackers leather jewellery box for the bulk of my pieces and smaller Wolf Caroline leather jewellery boxes to store each of the following:

- Branded designer rings
- Unbranded yellow gold rings
- Unbranded platinum/white gold rings
- VCA collection
- Kiki McDonough collection

Debating starting a separate box for my Temple St Clair pieces as I have quite a few of them now.

i use an agresti larger box and a smaller ercolano box.
