Used the snowblower for the first time. I dislike it - you can't clear the blacktop. DH was the one who insisted on getting a snowblower. Guess who was the one operating it today?

Can you believe we never lost power? That's because we had a generator put in last winter! Not complaining, though!!!
2' of snow and 70 mph winds. Haven't seen the horses all day...they're hiding in their house and the dogs have pooped/peed in the garage. Lovely!

2' wow!...I hope you're all dug out quickly and the animals are good...storm totally fizzled for us, forecasted 12", ended up with only 4...but no complaints here!

Wow! I am so glad you did not lose power!!! That much snow (ok really, even a snowflake) is my idea of hell, so I am relieved you are safe and warm.

Yea I will be the prime user of that snowblower. My husband will so not be outside helping..

Sky, my DH is DYING for a generator, but I refuse to spend the money. We rarely lose power here. I think on the Cape it's a good idea.

If I didn't need it, believe me...I wouldn't have spent the money. Thousands of dollars and I should probably have the rental property hooked up.
DS goes berserk with no power so it was worth it for us.....................
