If its a masquerade, are you going to be wearing a mask?
IF so, then if your mask is simple, then dangly earrings are a good choice. If it isn't, then simple diamond or pearl earrings are better and go to town with a giant ring and a bracelet. Have fun!

My 2 cents: The dress is TDF! Seriously...M-E-O-W! :winkiss:

As for jewelry...I'd opt out of a necklace. The neckline is lovely and has that great satin-y looking trim--so that's the line and a necklace might distract/disrupt. I'd go for a bracelet definately! Saligator mentioned that you might be wearing a mask, so I'd check that mask against any earrings to make sure it works. If it does, than go for the earrings. If it doesn't, a FAB cocktail ring!

The Mask will be held ...as to not mess up my hair!! Plus its so damn humid here I would totally freak out with anything touching my face!! (the masks are silver, black and white) very chic. (his and hers) I will have to post a pic when I pull this all together!! I got some great ideas from the Grammys last night!

Trufully ! I don't like the capped sleeves on this dress the rest of the cut is perfect. V neck, tied at the waist, and combo of colour's are perfect.

EXACTLY what I was thinking...with the capped shoulder...it will arrive tomorrow. So time will tell...perhaps I could have my tailer do something with it..the more I get into this the more I do not even want to go!! I have spent so much time trying to get this outfit together Im kind of over it. Thanks for your thoughts Prada...I appreciate it.

No problem. Its worth trying it on though ! it may fall differently on you which in end, could end up being perfect. I'm trying to think what the tailor could do ! Maybe take in the excessive fabric around the armpit and shorten the sleeve :s

The accessories sound great.

I thought the same...take it in a bit under the arms and make it a bit less "Dallas" in the shoulders...well, I will just see how it fits tomorrow. I pray it just works, other wise I will have to make a trip to Miami this weekend. Just to shop for a damn dress. UGHH....

That dress is simply gorgeous! I agree that no necklace is necessary...if you wear your hair up then earrings...long and classy. Maybe a splash of color -
