Jewelry from past relationships...

I can't wear anything an ex gave me. I've sold off/donated everything after every breakup and returned my engagement ring when I called off the wedding. Absolutely sucks because I really liked most of the pieces, but I'm too sentimental to remove the memories from the objects. I would NOT be okay with my DH wearing stuff another woman gave him, so I'll not do it to him.

My ex was pretty...tight with his purse strings. So I don't have any precious or semi precious jewels.
I do still own several pieces of costume jewellery though. I kept them to remind me how wonderful my DH is and appreciate him everyday [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

I was divorced after 18 years of marriage. The first ten years were fairly happy, the last few years were absolute hell. I saved three pieces of jewelry (one for each of my children in case they wanted something from their dad's and my relationship) and got rid of all the rest. Too many bad memories.

Got rid of most pieces given to me by my ex husband but I kept a few pieces that I really liked. However, I rarely wear these pieces due to unpleasant memories from the marriage.

I only had one piece of jewelry from a past relationship. It was a heart locket with our picture inside, but I ripped it in half and threw it away on a street during one of our many breakups.

The other exes were poor college students and didn't get me jewelry, but I kept some sketches from one who is a talented artist. They're in my childhood bedroom at my parents' house and my husband's not the jealous type.
