She told her Instagram fans on Friday how cupping has helped her find relief from her extremely swollen feet due to the pregnancy.

And following her post, Jessica Simpson, 38, was pictured enjoying a night out with husband Eric Johnson,39, as they watched her sister Ashlee and brother-in-law Evan Ross perform at The Roxy in LA.

The American singer, who is gearing up to welcome her third child in the coming days, donned a chic long-sleeved black maxi dress for the concert, which saw iconic diva Diana Ross also in attendance.

WOW! .. if I recall. she gained a LOT of weight with her daughter; wasn't she a Weight Watchers spokesperson after that? With her son, she didn't seem to carry as much weight because she said how hard it was to lose it. I hope that she didn't gain a lot of weight again, it makes the pregnancy more risky (e.g., gestational diabetes, etc.).

She is short so she will look bigger no matter what. Some people feel when they are pregnant they can just eat for two to three adult people. I remember being in the hospital after I had my daughter and the woman in the next room was crying into the phone talking to someone about how 3 days after she had her baby she only lost 12 of the 60-70 pounds she gained. I thought does she really think all the extra weight will magically disappear? One can also dress to make you look bigger when pregnant. As long as mom and baby are healthy I think she will find a way to get herself together. She has the money and help to make it happen.

The last six weeks you generally gain a ton of water weight, which is what it looks like here. Baby is done developing and is now just getting bigger, putting on some weight.

Because she's carrying heavy in the belly, she's also putting lots of pressure on her veins, causing issues with circulation in her feet.

Hopefully her Doc is monitoring her for preeclampsia.

My face really bloated out in the last 4 weeks.

Do they do that because they are hungry or just because they think they can?

When Jessica had Max she said she thought the weight would just fall off once she had the baby.

Nowadays, a good OB/GYN will monitor the mother's weight very carefully as they do not want the Mom to gain a lot of weight (according to my sister who specializes in pre & post-natal) .. they want ~ 20 lbs max! Sadly, too many women do think that they can eat for 2 and in addition, give in to their "cravings". Hey, every once in a while .. fine, but one really shouldn't give in every day. Worse is what you said .. that many believe they can just drop the lbs easily after the birth, and that may not be the case for every woman. Bottom line, the best thing to do is to not gain so much weight .. period!

Jessica was always an attractive woman. I felt so bad for her when Joy Behar (who I think is a horrible person) criticized her weight gain from a prior pregnancy. I remember it was in the tabloids and Tori Spelling came to Jessica's defense. Yay Tori!

Coming from a man, I think it is incredibly low class (maybe even no class) to criticize another person's weight. Nevermind criticizing a pregnant woman.

I'm sure post pregnancy she will work to make herself happy with her body image, whatever that may be. Good luck to her and her family!

When I got pregnant I gained 60 pounds with each baby. My doctor kept telling me to watch my diet but I didn’t think I ate too much. I was active and working full time and wasn’t eating all day.
Then after I had the baby and went for my one month checkup I had lost 35 pounds. Then the doctor starts telling me I’m losing it too fast. I wasn’t starving myself. It just came off.
I think some people are just weight gainers.
