I just received my Max & Chloe personalized initial necklace and it is ....TERRIBLE! I hate it. 
My initials are "IKB" and the "I" looks like a "J" and clearly the manufacturer didn't measure the letters because the "I" and "B" are huge and the "K" is tiny. I am beyond angry that I just threw $210 down the drain for this piece of crap (since these necklaces are final sale).

I just got my lay out from ely and while it is nice....I wanted the letter to be a little more intricate/ornate.....do you think this is possible with the letters CCG??? I need to email him back and see what he can do?? Did any of you have this issue w/ ely?? Kelly, did he recommend the e and l in your pendant to add in kel? I need to decide how to approach this with him....I want it to be his art/creation just a little fancier??

Dukeprincess- I am SHOCKED you dont love your M&C monogram. Can you show us a picture? I ordered 9 of them (1 for myself and the rest for my bridesmaids) and they are amazing. They could not be more perfect & made a great bridesmaid gift. I am going to post pictures tonight of what they looked like when I get home. they were Medium 1" size. I wear mine daily and love it. I think the quality is amazing & they way exceeded my expectations.
When he sent me the layout I did not like how big my K and Y were and I thought that the M was too compacted. I asked him about that and if he could make an adjustment and he said that he couldnt because it would change the integrity of the necklace and make it more fragile. So I just went with it. I still think the m is to smushed but when I wear it I dont mind. I would ask him if he can add some more swirls or something.
He never said anything about the e or the l. must be a unplanned
Jen, you likely received a better calligrapher than I did. My letters are the various sizes and my "I" looks like a "J." I think my JZ one looks 100x better.
M&C refused to take it back and were super nasty about it, so I filed a dispute with my CC company. I am never ordering from them again.
I am at work, but will upload a pic when I can.
Every time I see this thread come up to the top, it makes me want to order the JZ necklace. But I'm still deciding on which Evil Eye - either small Sydney Evan or Alef-Bet. Sydney Evan costs $650 and Alef-Bet is $274. They are about the same size but I like the chain more on the Sydney Evan. However if I get the Alef-Bet one, then I can justify the purchase of a JZ monogram necklace!
Can anyone post a picture of their MEDIUM 3 initial monogramed pendant from either M&C or JZ? I'm trying to decide between all the sizes out there and think that the medium pendant at 1" is the way to go! But would love to see a photo of somebody actually wearing that size to see how the letter look etc. Thanks! 
So I ordered from ely through his etsy site on April 5th. Within a week or so he sent me back a sketch/graphic of my monogram for approval. I told him I wanted it to be a bit more ornate/intricate and he said, "I will try." I thought he was going to send me another sketch after that but I did not hear from him in over a week. I emailed him on Monday and he said, he mailed it out that day which surprised me b/c I thought he was going to send me the updated sketch. I did not mention that to him though...b/c he never told me he was going to do that I just thought he would......so not is is Saturday and I still have not received my necklace. I emailed him yesterday that the week had gone by with out me receiving my necklace and he has not emailed me back! Just venting.....I hope my necklace gets here on monday and I love it so I can get over my disappointment in my experience so far.....
