I don't think Brad or Angelina cares to be honest.

It says that Brad sent his security people with his mom. If it was that big a deal, I don't think he'd send people who work for him to go. If he had protested, I'm sure Jen could have just as easily sent hers.


I think we make a much bigger to do out of this than all three of them.

If all the parties involved are OK with this (looks like Brad is as well as his mom and Jen, at least from what we could see) then why can't his mom keep seeing Jen as a friend ? Life is too short, if you really care about someone you should do it. Funny how when it comes to Brad seeking his own happiness and doing what he wants to do it's OK that he does whatever he wants, and his mom should be the one who has to give up her relationship with Jen.

Agreed times a million. Some of the responses in this thread make me so glad that I have the family that I have. My Aunt Dee still goes to all of her ex's family functions because they really want her there and my cousin goes to all of his stepchildren's school functions with their father! My cousin was the first person their father called when the his son from his second marriage had health problems because he trusts his opinion so much.

It's nice to see other people out there who don't turn their love & sense of family on and off with marriage certificates and divorce decrees.

To be quite honest, this is a friendship that should not be continuing. It may seem nice and lovely, but his mother should step away from the friendship for the sake of his present relationship and its peacefulness.

If there was a child still involved and there was a connection that would be one thing, but they are no longer family. Yes, they once were, but they are no longer.

It is much more important to keep peace and and support your child's choice, than to do as you wish. It is called a sacrifice.

Who knows...for all we know...all of the parties are ok with whatever is going on. LOL.

I agree, but Brad and Jen were together for 7 yrs give or take. Apparently Jane loves Jen like a daughter and it's hard to just step away from those feelings.

i think she is insecure ... she married Billy Bob a week after he bought a house together with Laura Dern, she was getting it on with Brad full steam while she was giving interviews to the press, denying everything and saying her and brad are just good friends and she would never break a home as she comes from a broken home herself ... after all that bs and lies karma is gonna get her at some stage and she knows it !

There's always two sides in the story, and we "public" can only speculate. I always believe that no one can break a home if the home was not broken in the first place. It's not easy to break a strong foundation. AJ changed a lot after adopting Maddox, and I now see a lot of changes in Brad after having kids....He seems sooo much happier with his life now. It may not seem right to some people (about what Brad did), but I think he's being honest to himself for choosing a happier life.

I think it's nice that they still keep in touch but I agree with a lot of you that Angleina is probably so jealous and bothered by this! Of course it is only natural to feel this way but I think it's okay for Jen to keep in touch with her former mother in law!
