Easy to do when you can hire a whole team to field your essential business and phone calls for you. That said, I like the idea of carving out family time without digital distractions.

I’m sure their lives are ruled by the assorted demands coming through their digital devices 24/7. A nice luxury for them to create this mandate as I’m sure their employees are not able to do this.

As a wife, who has had to deal with a husband who buries his face in the iPhone while drinking morning coffee while I sit there looking :frown:. I say good for Jeff and Lauren to make time for themselves without media distractions. I guess I need to win the lottery so this rule can be layed down in my house!!:yes:

They claim they have no screen time in the mornings. They more than make up for it by telling us lots of trivia about their lives. So I'm not so sure I buy "no screen time" mornings. If they do, yippee for them.

I know a few families who do this. It’s usually at the dinner table, though. With teens it might be a challenge but totally possible.

Jeff and Lauren are adults with all the resources in the world to be able to do this. So good for them. They do more than make up for it the rest of the day I’m sure.
