Japanese Coach ring - warning

I'm going to add Indonesian website " SHOPEE . CO . ID " to this list.

Here's a page of their listings:

and here's the patch from a "Pacman" bum bag. This one might set a new record for the number of misspellings in a single creed:

The actual seller ID was given as " loohy.id " but that doesn't mean much, they have an endless supply of fake IDs

I'm amazed that the crooks actually managed to spell "Coach" correctly.

How do you know these are Korean fakes?
We don't know that they're Korean fakes. They're close fakes being sold by Japanese and other Asian sellers.

Although they're being sold by sellers in other countries, that's not to say that similar styles/items won't be coming from US sellers. I have little doubt that US sellers have purchased from some of the "ring" sellers so eventually, the fakes will show up here too.

I see. I appreciate your knowledge and warning us now that coach is again gaining more popularity. However, if we don't know for sure that's where it's coming from, it might be prudent to not speculate and single out a country. Just my two cents.

For those who need a stress-relief giggle during these trying times, here are a couple of comps of the Indonesian seller's horrible creed to two creeds from what I believe are authentic versions of the same item.

#1 shows a not-quite-clear comp from a bag made in the same month/year and plant that the fake was made. Although the picture isn't as clear as I wish it were, most of the differences are pretty obvious.

#2 shows a very clear and legible creed picture from a comp that was made in the same month/year as the fake but from a different plant.

We aren't "singling out countries."

If you look at the sellers that were listed throughout this thread, they are sellers in Japan (as per item location in listings) and the newest listing(s) on the Indonesian Shoppee site so as far as we're concerned, that's where the items are "coming from."

I totally understand the actual sellers. I'm not referring to those. I'm talking about your very first post that says these are Korean fakes are coming into Japan.

They only got "COACH" right at the top of the creed. In the text, it's a "COACN" SAC.

Yep, I noticed that after I posted

Most of the Shopee . co . id seller LOOHY.ID listing pages only show a single creed photo from the same item which is probably a genuine creed. But here's a photo from the items received by one of their buyers who left a comment. Here's the seller link BTW, I've made it unclickable, close up the gaps in the URL to see the listings:
https ://shopee. co. id/product/167368453/2718449019?smtt=0.0.9
The fine details and text in these items are unreadable but they should look familiar

Ah, okay.....we're talking about 2 different things.

There are and were MANY cases where (supposedly) reputable Japanese sellers have listed and relisted counterfeit Coach "vintage" bags that actually STATED on the creeds as "made in Korea." (There are lots of fakes seen over the years that have creeds stating Korea as the country of origin.

The reason i mentioned those made in Korea fakes was to point out that despite Japan's strict anti-counterfeiting laws even reputable sellers have listed fakes.

But then I moved on to the current subject of the "newish" Japanese seller with the current wave of "Coach collaboration" fakes. AFAIK, these sellers aren't connected to the more established Japanese sellers but seem to be capitalizing on the perceived honesty of Japanese sellers.

I hope this clarifies.

Oh ok. If an item says made in Korea (although I guess if they are faking it, they can say whatever they want) and its a fake, it makes sense. That's why I asked how you knew they were from Korea. Thanks for the clarification.
