Thanks, sometimes it’s hard to tell from pics. Interesting in that it’s a S/S 2021 tag and unless I’m having a senior moment I don’t recall, other than @ksuromax ’s F/W 2017 “holy cow” calfskin City, a classic calfskin bag like this. I’ve given up trying to figure out outlet bags.
I was thinking the same thing! That it was an "A" tag or similar! Or at least that's what I thought you thinking...

This is gorgeous @TwiggyM! That leather looks wonderful!

Hi,

this beauty made it home to me today. I found it at the Balenciaga boutique at Bicester Village and fell in love immediately. I’m actually waiting for a Town from Fashionphile and shouldn’t really have bought anymore, but I couldn’t pass it up. I’ve had several Balenciagas before, but to be honest I’ve struggled to find my dream combination of leather, colour, hardware etc. until I stumbled upon this. It just ticks all my boxes. It has that thick, supple calf leather of the blackout line, but with the regular sized hardware and long tassels. I’m in love!

Does anyone know what happened to Jen and lovebbags.com? I get a 404 error now when I try to visit her blog. :confused1:
Her website hadn't been updated for some time; I'm assuming that she just lost interest in the brand .. we've seen it happen to many (alas) former enthusiasts. The best (EVER) website for Balenciaga was some years ago .. I remember the title had the British term 'NAFF' .. because she had a behind-the-scenes history of how the Motorcycle style even came about. She had comparison pictures (fakes vs 'real'), etc. -- it was fantastic but sadly, some trolls hit her site and she decided to shut it down.

Corey on the Real Deal Collection (realdealcollection.com) has some good "oldies" information; not sure about more current stuff ..

Corey told me she lost interest around 2012 I think.
