JANUARY 2023 Chanel Purchases

Was in the mall to check out the LV x Kusama collection (and decided that although cute the bags weren't timeless - got SLGs + bandeau though), and on the way home decided to walk in to the Chanel boutique "for fun".

Was kind of looking for classic CC earrings, they had one with a seashell on top of a CC but I decided to pass and stay focused on the VCA VA earrings I want to get at some point - not now, bought too much in Paris in November!

Then I noticed the square coral red casino(?) Mini on display and asked to see it...and the SA told me there was a mini in a green shade, would I be interested? I thought, ok why not no harm looking I haven't looked at a mini in years (my 2016 black caviar square mini is my ultimate HG and I've never felt like I needed another mini), but then she takes out this gorgeous light green with champagne ghw....I typically don't wear green but I was wearing a green floral skirt and this paired perfectly. I know how difficult it is to find minis nowadays, and I know how functional the size is for me.

And so there's no turning back...the pop of colour, rectangular mini I never knew I needed!! How gorgeous is this?!? (It looks a tad more yellow due to the lighting here). Has anyone else seen this around or can point me to other photos of this colour? It's from 23C! Hello ban island!!

your bunny nail is super cute

Just got this cutie in the mail. On the fence about whether I should keep it or not because of the colored chain… do you think this bag could still be considered a “classic” Chanel bag? Would appreciate your thoughts!

I like the colored chain. It adds a little fun to the classic CHANEL quilts and logo. This type of little bucket bag is very practical. I have one from Zara. Despite the designer bags I have, I often reach to it for convenience as it holds a ton, sunglasses, phone, card holder and etc without being bulky and it's easy to access stuff in the bag.

It’s 2023! Looking forward to seeing everyone’s Chanel purchases this month!
While I figure out whether to keep my small or medium flap (thanks for everyone’s help in another thread!) - thought I would share my newest slg. I had a large Chanel zippy years ago but this is my first card holder, which I’ve gravitated to more in recent years. I love it! Black caviar with silver hardware.

Went to 31 Rue Cambon on my last day in Paris and got lucky! The SAs there seem really overworked and exhausted, and many didn't show much interest in serving the clients beyond simply taking out what they already have on the shelves. My SA was really nice though I could see the sheer fatigue on her face. She went to the backroom to retrieve the last small le boy in black caviar for me. When I asked whether there are any more small bags that can fit a phone along with just some cards, she also recommended a seasonal bag in lambskin that resembled a book and I was immediately head over heels in love. I'm a writer by profession so that really spoke to my soul. I snapped up both of those within 15 minutes and headed off to Dior to get my husband his coveted Dior jeans before they closed. As I was in a hurry to leave, I forgot to ask the SA what kind of leather my le boy is crafted with. I can't tell and don't even know if there's a difference between the shiny caviar and the iridescent caviar. Please help! The curiosity is killing me.

Hope it’s not way too late to wish everyone a Happy New Year since I just returned home from vacation. Happy 2023!

This 21K cardigan was actually a December 2022 sale purchase (40% off) from Chanel at Incheon Airport in Korea. They had only a few sale items left (jackets in size 40 and up and this cardigan in size 36) that were being hidden in the fitting room.

Also took home with me, 23C shoes and a 23C Chanel 19 pouch, from the boutique at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.

Thanks for letting me share.
