Neon Orange Raver. Buying this was an exercise in extreme frivolity. I’d been eyeing these for a while. Sometimes I’m irresistibly attracted to things (and people) who irritate the crap out of me, and the Raver fell in that category. Why? Because have you seen the prices on these? Unconscionable. For nylon.
But I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect throw around, unprecious bag with lots of utility. It fits perfectly tucked under the arm. And the inside is the most, and I mean MOST, buttery soft leather, reminds me of my liquid silk Village. Like, yo, Bal, where’ve you been hiding this leather?
With “Le” City coming soon, it made me wonder if people at Bal even know what the big deal was about the moto bags and why they launched a million collectors. “It’s the leather, stupid!”

@Deco I love that you're experimenting with all the styles, both old and new alike. I'm a big fan of Prada nylon as it's so durable and lightweight, but was always unsure of Bal nylon with their price point. Glad to know they've at least thrown some nice leather on the inside.

It's funny how they've made the inside so posh compared to the outside. Even the leather logo tag on the inside seems to be a luxurious upgrade from other interior label tags. And then they sew on the cheapo-cheese logo on the outside.
Inside tag explains that the nylon is 100% recycled from "fishnets, and carpet fluff". I assumed they meant fishing nets, but maybe it is fishnet stockings. Who knows.
Took a chance on a steal of a day that popped up a little bit ago and wasn’t 100% sure of the color. Thrilled to discover I had an 05 teal on my hands! It’s got some miles on it and the color is a bit faded but it has that wonderful smooshy 2005 leather!
