You're welcome! Just looked back at the Internet pics you originally posted and both colors are so much richer in person. They were really stunning.
Also just wanted to add, the little sign by them had this at the bottom "This product is currently sold only in Michael Kors stores and at michaelkors.com".
I wonder if the word "currently" in there is a little clue that they might be available elsewhere after 10/31?
I wonder. I don't have enough experience with MK to know. Sometimes Coach has something they call pilot bags - they release a small quantity to see how well they sell, and then later release more, but there is always a chance they won't make more.
Several years ago, I saw the Uptown Astor at a MK boutique. I loved the style but wasn't so sure about the colors. The next day I found nearly the same style in the outlet, but in suede. Since I love suede, it was an easy decision, and I saved several hundred dollars! I wonder if they might come out with an all leather version later. If that happens, I'll be happy I grabbed the suede when I did.
