Jacque Slingback Shoes - Signature or Leather?

I know myself too well. I know that if I buy these on eBay with the intention of returning the signature ones the siggies will never go back. I'll end up keeping both - I just know it.

The eBay seller was able to get another pair of leather Jacque's for me and, as I suspected, now that I have both pairs in my possession I don't want to part with either one. ush: They are nearly identical but I can see myself actually getting some use out of both pairs.


The angel sitting on my right shoulder is telling me to return the signature pair and that it's silly to have both.

The devil sitting on my left shoulder is telling me to keep them both and that if I like them and will wear them that I should keep them. And, while I'm at it, get them in khaki, too.

Before I got the leather, I had in my mind that the signature would be dressier than the leather. Now that I have them both, I find the opposite to be true. The leather pair has a patent toe sole, heel and trim so they could really be dressed up. The signature pair has snakeskin on the trim and heel. They could probably both be dressed up or down, really. Great, that makes it even harder!

I am such a moron. I knew this was going to happen. I am stuck and I really don't know what to do.

First, congrats on getting the leather pair. That was a good find. AND you're not a moron! It sounds like you really do like both pairs equally and would get good use out of both pairs. I agree that the leather pair seems a bit more dressy than the signature pair. But I also don't see why you wouldn't be able to wear the leather pair with a pair of jeans. It dresses up a casual outfit. If you can, just keep both. But if you really rather just have one pair then it sounds like the signature pair would be more versatile - meaning that they can be used either to dress up or down. Hope that helps!

If you are seriously thinking about getting the khaki, contact me. I'm not sure I'm going to keep the ones I got at the outlet. AND, I'm interested in the black/black signature. Maybe we could make a trade?

Ok I realize this probably won't help in the enabling department, BUT I was in my local Coach tonight and they have these Slingback's in both the black signature and in the khaki signature (not sure of what sizes though). The good thing is that they are all discounted and are now marked down to $149. Just thought you might want to know if you decided you really want the khaki pair. And if you do, just let me know and I'll give you that store's info.

I bought the Jacque Slingbacks at the most recent PCE in black signature. They are absolutely adorable and I just love them. However, I was browsing eBay this morning and found the same exact shoes, but in leather. When I bought mine I didn't know that they were available in leather and I think I probably would have gotten the leather had I known.

What should I do? I could return the signature ones to Coach and buy the leather ones on eBay. Or, I could keep the signature ones and pretend I never saw the leather ones, seeing as though I was happy before not knowing the leather even existed. I like both styles, that's the problem! I am really stumped and don't know what to do.

I think that I am the only one who cannot see your pictures!
