Yes, come. You have to come to Cleveland though cuz I am headed for the poor house. he he I'm justifying my purchase by all the things I'm going to get rid of in my closet.

Yeah twilly shopping would be better in NY. Wish I could. I have to be good for awhile though. Cuff's is calling me about ordering the matte black and want 1/2 down and I'm headed to the Netherlands next month. So I really need to stay home and keep out of trouble or atleast give my credit cards a break.

Holy cow -- half down? That could earn a lot of interest by the time your bag arrives! Well I'm glad they're at least ready to order it for you, though.

Well, they told me when you were with me they would order it and I called to confirm last week. Lyon said she wanted to make sure they were getting the allocation before she took my money and I haven't heard back yet, so your guess is as good as mine if they are going to or not. I was pretty shocked about the 1/2 down thing too. No other H boutique does that. Plus I know they charge more for their bags. I bought an all leather garden party there for 2,250 + tax and I have read on here that they sold in the store for $1800. I was going to get confirmation what they charge for croc now before I gave them the money cuz if its more than the boutiques it might not be worth doing as I can pay more anytime and get the bag now.

I guess to a certain extent it makes sense that they take a deposit (although it still stinks that you have to pay it!). I'd imagine if you didn't end up buying it, it could be a little harder to move a croc Birkin in Chagrin Falls than in a big city. But if they take phone orders then they'd be able to unload it pretty fast :yes:
