Oh My!!!
Major Congrats my dear purse!! What a fabulous haul!
I saw a bit of your reveal on the Hermes thread. Love the Gold CDC.
But you outdid it all when you acquired this gorgeous YG beauty. Lucky you!
The Daytona (RG) is my UHG. U wear her so well!

purse, your Rolex is INSANELY beautiful; really breathtaking!! I've worn Date just's all my life but am seriously considering a Daytona as my next Rolex.

Here are some modeling shots. Again, sorry they're so blurry!

Gorgeous watch! Congratulations and very happy anniversaries to you! Now, can I ask you a couple of things?

1) How does one acquire '2' anniversaries?
2) Do you think it's too late after 11 years of marriage to 'add' the second anniversary on?:graucho:

:p Funny you should ask! Basically, two weeks after we had gotten engaged, my now DH was told by his navy recruiter (DH had a navy scholarship for his last couple years of med school) that "things would be better if he was married...the sooner the better." I just about fell over when he told me her advice and said NO WAY...after all, I'd barely gotten used to the idea of being engaged! I somehow got convinced that it'd be so cute and romantic to elope, and so we did...to Vegas...with our dogs...at the drivethru...with a bunch of Japanese tourists videotaping us! We agreed that since we didn't want our family and friends bailing on our ceremony, we'd keep it our own little secret, and not really consider it our official wedding until we had our official ceremony. We had that almost a year later. The exact date fell on a weekday, so that didn't work. Our parents and siblings knew about the elopement, but no one else did. Fast forward ten years, and DH thought it was stupid to deny us out of a year of legal matrimony just because most other people didn't know about our Vegas escapade. So he suggested celebrating our 10th last year instead of waiting until our tenth this year. I was all for it, since he'd promised me a new ring for "our tenth"! :p But after celebrating May 5th as our anniversary for 9 years, it didn't seem right to just dump the date in favor of May 24th! So we agreed to celebrate on both. There's your very long answer!

So yes, I totally think after eleven years, you can acquire a new anniversary! Just don't renew your vows on the same date! :graucho:

And thanks for your sweet compliment! :smile1:

What a lovely story, awww! Good for you both! Okay, so I have no make sure if we renew our vows it's a completely different date. Got it! Brilliant plan!:p

What a great story!! Now, I have 21+ years under my belt, there has to be a way to add another anniversary......maybe a '1/2 anniversary', like they celebrate 1/2 birthday's in elementary schools. I think I may be onto something:happydance:
