First pic of the destuffed bag, second - can you believe ALL OF THAT was in the bag... not joking.

lol. they sent the bag to you like they would to the coach stores. completely untouched.

so imagine when you say you want "that bag" and the SA goes to the back or tells someone to get it.

thats how much stuff they have to dig out! and the paper they wrap around the duffle can be a pain to take off if you don't have a little experience ;)

seriously. the amount of paper that retail stores (not just coach, when i worked at gap it was the same). if only coach recycled. at least with the older gap we would put the paper in the recycle bin and the trash in the trash bin. but right now as it stands in the mall they only have cardboard boxes compressor and a trash bin.

no recycling bin whatsoever.

so maybe i should complain to the mall and not coach. this gives me an idea.

:p i learn something new everyday here.

Alright, well we are no longer at code level panic... I came home from running errands and gave it another try.

It's definately better now that the stuffing is out and I can actually feel what the bag is like... It reminds me of MJ multipocket bags, which I really like - so that's a plus. I'm still struggling with the color being a bit more gray then I had envisioned... but I think that it would be a nice addiiton to all of the blues I have going on right now. I have bags in teal, light blue, spearmint, etc - so this isn't like any of them, which is nice.

I'm going to give it a few days and see what happens. I know for sure I love the wristlet, and I like the bag - I just want to make sure that I am going to  using it!

Thank you for all of the help & suggestions. :flowers:

It sounds like you have more of a problem with the color and not so much the style.....That is why I buy mainly black bags....I have all black except for my whiskey zip....What about exchanging it for a more neutral color.

I actually find this bag too structured for my taste, but that bag really does look great on you in your last pict. and of course im going to say keep the wristlet!

That blue legacy shoulder bag is gorgeous. I just saw it today at
the Coach Flagship store on Fifth Avenue and 16th Street. See if
it grows on you. They don't have many of these to go around. I
think I may have to get one. It is so cute for Spring and Summer
and I have never had a light colored handbag.

Also remember the bag WILL get darker as you handle it and it absorbs the natural oils from your hands. It will look more like the ones in the store if you saw one of them.

I LOVE the color, and i also think it will match everything... my only thing is- will you be able to keep it clean, or will you love how it looks once the leather has a patina? Once you start using it, it will definitely soften up... and also, once you have your things in it, it won't be slipping off your shoulder.

I actually just got back from the mall. I went specifically to get this bag in pond, but the color was more of a dusty teal than I expected. I was looking for a lighter, powdery blue. Terribly disappointed, because I was salivating over what I had imagined, but I left without it. I just can't justify spending that much on a bag when I know it won't stop my lemming for the perfect blue leather bag! I guess I'll keep looking.
