Thanks ladies for your kind words
My husband hates to hand me anything
I have eagle eyes as he says. I can spot the tiniest infraction in diamonds without the help of a loupe. For a regular person my center stone is real but that is because I am a diamond dealer and to question me would be absurd. For someone in the business though they would spot it no matter what quality the cz is
There is a difference but it just depends on who will be viewing the stone. Needless to say at any jewelry function we attend the Venus will come out of the safe.
No the mock setting has been set with diamonds that have a bit of color to them and the Venus is set with diamonds that match its quality.

On a different note, (small hyjack) just wanted to ask a question out of curiosity.
Do people automatically assume that the centre stone is real due to the quality and calibre of the setting look so quality and designer? My theory is that half of what we `see` in the world is what our mind tells us we are seeing. I know I wouldnt be questioning the realness of the stone so probably would just assume its real and not even try to analyse it!!!!
Anyway, it must be fun to have two rings the same (almost!).
Can you tell the difference??? And, is the quality of the setting the same on both rings?
