Yes definitely a good idea to go with an older warm blood. That was my mistake with the last one. A green zangersheide with too much blood even though he looked like a big fuzzy thelwell pony. Big mistake! Best of luck in finding your perfect next horse. If you are in the mid Atlantic area I can recommend some really great sales barns.
