Is this bag Chanel "inspired"?

I actually prefer the GST, I kept the Kate Spade as it was a gift with no gift receipt
I use them both but I actually do not like inspired bags ( I feel they are a copy) and feel awkward.

I feel the same way, and I don't mind that others carry them, but it's just not for me .

I know it has been going on for years, but it's still shocking to see yet another contemporary play copy cat. I'm disappointed by RM. Oh well, I'll just stick to the ones I love

Is it "inspired?" Absolutely. Is it a copy? Absolutely not. Often designers will be inspired by other designers in their creations (there is a horrible example of a Dior inspired bag that is selling at the stores; I forget the designer by it was soooo ugly). You found two bags that completely show the inspiration behind that RM bag. Great detective work!

The burgundy colored bag is certainly a handsome bag. I wonder if people would think that it was a bit too inspired by Chanel bags? That I can't say. But it is quite common for designers to be inspired by other designers and incorporate aspects into their own work. I guess it's up to you to decide how much is too much.

Yeah, cute. I just so happened to be in a boutique yesterday that sells RM and I saw some similar Chanel "inspired" bags in RM's new line. They feel like plastic in comparison with Chanel. Once you go Chanel you don't go back! :-P
