Is this a fake Kate Spade?

HELP!
Hello. I am new to the world of designer brands and high end fashion. I am trying to learn so that I can find those treasures when I am thrifting. I found this bag and bought it in haste since the store was closing soon.

Because of the straps I'm thinking it's a diaper bag. There is no label on the outside and no indication that there ever was. I have never owned a Kate Spade and not familiar with designer bags.

I'm thinking it's not authentic but was hoping you could confirm.
