Is there anyone who DOESN’T like the Pochette Metis?

I'm not a fan. I owned it for 2yrs and when I would strap my babies into their car seat, the bag would always somehow swing around and the hardware would bang into my car. I was relieved when it developed the glazing issue and I received store credit for something else. I loved the look but it didn't work for me.

I was a bit disappointed when I bought it-ordered it online and picked it up at the store. It was smaller than I thought it would be and no way could I carry it every day -my stuff wouldnt fit in it. I was going to return it but the salesman made such a big stink about what a mistake it would be for me to not take it blah blah blah. So I have it. Carried it about three times and that's it

I have never liked it. And i thought i was the only one lol. It is like a smaller brief case, and the structure is too formal for it to be made of monogram. May be an epi leather PM would look okay, if i require a serious office bag that is, but with monograms all over it, it looks so mismatched because for me monogram = casual, and the shape of this bag isn't very casual looking in my eyes.

It's the first bag I noticed as being 'new' when I re-entered the LV market last year. I knew it was popular and wondered if it might be my 'it' bag, but I'm glad I didn't get caught up in the hype. I tried it on and it's just not 'me' for starters. I like bags that mould to the body and the Metis is too structured. And the flap/lock would have done my head in if I bought it.

Not a fan, it is like the Neverful lineup and Speedy lineup and now the Multi Pochette lineup, everyone has one and I see why it is popular the style seems practical. But, I am always looking for something that is less popular and will add to my minimalist style. I too use to go along with the trend, but as I have gotten older I have come to really enjoy my style without being too influenced and when I buy trending bags, I keep them for all of two weeks and I wind up taking them back to LV or putting them on the resale market. I like to browse the LV website and see what speaks to me instead of being influenced with what is popular.

Here’s my honest opinion about the bag. It looks great but it’s just ok. I bought the mono and ended up liking the reverse mono so I sold it. It took me 3 or 4 tries to get the perfect reverse mono with no flaws. (I ordered online) it’s been a year or two now? And I have only used the bag twice. I took it out the other day to use it but felt it was too small and didn’t fit everything I need as an everyday bag. Now I am thinking about selling it because it’s just sitting my closet.

I’ve owned two and sold both! Empriente and mono. I love the look, it’s classic. It just didn’t function for me and ended up sitting in my closet both times. I didn’t like the way the inside is divided, and the back pocket is essentially useless. The locking clasp is nice for security, but not convenience. I think I just prefer an unstructured bag. My Speedy B 25 is my go-to crossbody now, about the same size but holds so much more. Give me a NF, Speedy or Noe any day.

Never bought one. Never will. Kinda strange for me as I love a square bag. I teach for my Chanel 19 more than anything. Soft, squishy, gorgeous, goes with everything, easy to carry no fuss bag.
