is there anyone who passed on the Pochette Metis and why? It seems to be one of LV’s most popular bags that I own and I regret purchasing :( sad to say all the hype of this bag is what drew me to it but something about it just doesn’t look right on me when worn especially crossbody.....

Has anyone sold theirs or what’s your reason you don’t like it? Did you opt for a different bag?

I've never really been a fan of it at all. During the hype, I tried it on and didn't like the boxy way it stood out on my huge hips. It's a flap bag, so that means every time I need something, flap up, dig in, flap down and search for the fastener. Oh the anxiety while standing in a grocery line!

There is no room.

Speedy 25 or Speedy 30 is a great alternative.

I tried both the mono and reverse multiple times, but didn’t like how they looked crossbody at all. So I completely understand what you are saying. But when I tried the black empreinte months later, it was a different story. Maybe try it in leather? It is so comfortable.
Otherwise, there are so many pretty bags to choose from. I love my Neonoe on the shoulder and crossbody.

I like the Pochette Metis on other people just not on me. This style has been around for a long time and after few endorsements this bag became popular. Even my SA was surprised by how popular it has become. For years, it was moderately selling, now it is in high demand.

I like the PM very much, but all the glazing problems keep me away from it.

I like the look of it but I have always been a bit concerned that it is too small for an everyday bag. I like small bags. The totally PM, the turenne PM and the Bloomsbury are the perfect size for me. But I do get the impression that the Pochette Metis is a bit smaller. I'm just going by what I have seen. I have never tried it IRL.

I had one and sold it. It was very cute, but over time I realized I just didn’t like the clasp. I’m in and out of my bag a lot more that I realized, so I prefer an easier access to the interior on a casual/every day bag.

I am also in the minority and don’t like the pochette Metis. Bought 2 and returned/sold both due to glazing issue.

I’ve 2 problems with PM:

1. Don’t like it on my frame. Love it on others but for me it never worked out.

2. Even if I loved the bag, I would never put up with the glazing issues it comes with. I enjoy my bags (while treating them nicely) but I cannot live in fear of glazing and ultimately damaged canvas.

So like so many others, I am happily enjoying the Clapton in noir. I like the aesthetics of Clapton (more refined looking) as well as quality (more luxe and substantial feel). Plus the feet at the bottom are the cherry on the top.

I own it, I like it, but it isn't the LOVE I expected. I find it to be very heavy for what it holds. My Speedy B25 in DA is much more comfy when worn cross body and is more functional for me. I was able to carry what I'd put in the PM in my Speedy along with a light cardigan. Plus the Speedy is lighter to carry.

I still use my PM, but not if I am going to be out for an entire day.

Note: I have issues in my neck, so I have problems with many bags these days.

I don’t love mine. I need to take some pictures and get it sold. It looks great on other people but I think it looks boxy and awkward on me. I absolutely hate the closure. It drives me crazy. I don’t like how I have to fit things in there. Something about it just isn’t right, you know? It’s unfortunate. Once I sell it I’m going to miss it when when I look at other’s pictures. I’ll just have to remember why it doesn’t work for me. [emoji4]

me! lol I really never liked it, but i was happy that LV managed another "it bag". I find that unless you really try and put an outfit together like blogger style, the PM doesn't really elevate a basic everyday outfit.
I just personally don't like the school bag look for anything other than... school? lol I especially dislike it when people wear it cross body and even more so when the bag sits on their tummy in the front. i find it awkward since it is such a boxy bag and just reminds me of tourists wearing their bags in the front on purpose to avoid pick pockets.
I do see people in fashion week carrying it like a clutch by hand or tucked underneath their arms and it looks chic to me. but ofcourse, it's really not practical to wear it that way on a regular basis. lol :)
