Ok...Here's the only Emerald piece I have. I use to have more but gave them away to my niece & my current SIL.(Emerald is their birthstone) I had an 3.5ct Emerald in my wedding set from my first marriage. After the divorce, I no longer had the love for Emeralds as I once did but I'm now back to loving them again. This is the only piece I kept because it was a gift from my sister 30+ yrs ago. She brought it back from Columbia when she & her husband went on a South American tour. I was suppose to go on the trip but was unable to travel because I was far into my pregnancy.
No, I actually purchased the setting from ebay (10 plus years ago) and then had the emerald set. I wear it quiteLove the Deco setting!!!Is this beauty a family heirloom??

I love emeralds too but not as a ring! It is too expensive for me to risk it getting broken. I work with my hands a lot! However, i love it as earrings or pendant. I used to have earrings but I gave it to my SIL. However, i still have the pendant. Do any of you reoil your emerald?
