Is the RTT silver bead bracelet sturdy for everyday wear?

I also have the rtt small bead bracelet and had no issues with it.
I have had mine for about 4 years now,
Didn’t wear it everyday though.
Enjoy it!

My lovely boyfriend surprised me with my first Tiffany’s Piece last night on my bday.
It’s the small silver bead bracelet with the blue enamel return to Tiffany heart.

I’m in the food service business, so use my hands a lot and run around a lot. I also never remember/want to take my jewelry off during showers and bedtime.
Sterling silver never seems to tarnish on my skin, so I never bothered taking anything off before.

I’m just curious as to how this bracelet will hold up to everyday wear?
The beads seem to be threaded on a thin chain and the little blue heart on a small ring on one of the beads. I’m worried of the chain breaking or the heart breaking off.

I’d be devastated since this is the first piece of jewelry he’s ever gotten for me and it’s very special to me.

Also, to anyone that has this bracelet, how do you like it? Is it a good stackable piece?

Thanks everyone! [emoji173]️

I've had mine since September 2014 or so, wear it nearly almost daily, and even the enamel is in good condition. It seems pretty durable to me. I don't get it caught on things like other bracelets as it's a close fit but my kitty got one of her fangs under it and tried to pull it off because she wanted dinner.

I wore mine for 2 weeks (without taking off) and it started tarnishing already. I can legit see the change in colour. The beads have this sort of brown stains/residue (oxidation) however the chain inside and the heart charm remains clean. Is this normal though??? I feel like 2 weeks is too fast for a rather expensive bracelet to tarnish.

Congratulations on your new piece!

I have worn mine almost daily for a little over a year until it broke (back in September 2015). I didn't get caught on anything, it just fell off when I was washing my hands. Luckily I could save all major items and get it repaired. I have worn it a lot ever since it was repaired and nothing else happened. Maybe I got caught on something shortly before it fell off and was just lucky I could save it, I don't know.

Nonetheless I really love mine and still wear it a lot! I think it holds up pretty well to everyday wear, the little heart doesn't even get scratched that much. I also wear it in the shower and didn't have any problems with it. I don't usually wear jewelry in bed though, but if you're afraid it might break you could just put it off and leave it on your bedside table during the night? Although I wouldn't be too worried since the chain is quite "sturdy" imo.
How long did it take for your bracelet to start tarnishing?

Congratulations! I own the same bracelet and while I don’t wear it everyday, it’s pretty sturdy. My aunt also has the same one and she wears hers daily. Hers hasn’t broken either. Hot I do wanna warm that sometimes the blue enamel can fall out (hers has, mine hasn’t) but you can get it repaired at a Tiffany store.

I can't really remember. But I got two more bracelets in the meantime, about two weeks ago I bought the RTT bracelet with the tiny rubedo heart. When I first put it on there was quite a difference between the new and the old bracelet. The new one looked so shiny and silver but comparing them now it lost it's shine. It's not the same colour as the old bracelet but you can't spot the difference that easily. But it still doesn't have brown stains - not even my five year old bracelet has these.
