Is the roxanne too casual?

I totally agree wtih this above ^ that its the combination that adds individuality. I sometimes feel a bit too formal with my suit and bays and prefer the bays wtih slightly more casual/smart outfits....i think a slic chic chick can do a Roxy for work no problem at all.

Love the roxy and bays equally so to me it depends on the colour you choose. I have both bags in black so think either would look great with a suit. But that wouldn't stop me from using my other coloured roxys, the choc one I have is so beautiful no one would even look at what I am wearing just drool over the bag!!!!!

Love Roxy, but still I think that with smart single suit it is a strange bag...
However, a military-style outfit or double breasted suit with make Roxanne shine...

Also, classical high-waisted jeans and fitter trousers would love Roxanne on their side.

I think , Roxanne was designed at a military-fashion era (still going strong),
and it does not have to be casual, but it probably does not fit a "stiff upper lip royal" dress style, where Bays would fit better...

Interesting point about single- vs. double-breasted suits, K. Thanks!

Overall, I think the black Roxy can work very well with a suit. Not quite as well as a Bays, though.

Oooh this is a tricky question.

As you know I have been somewhat partial to the odd Bays & Roxy in my time..........

TBH, I think a structured Bays looks more obviously smarter than a Roxanne but a saggy Bays looks very casual indeed.

I think the Roxy has a more funky/edgy look but think it still looks great with even the sharpest business suits.

So sorry - I was no help whatsoever!
